Stern > Rome
The draft lottery will eventually go away at some point. They'll just do it like the NFL and award draft position based on overall record and final standings. That way you take any conspiracy theory out of it. And let's be honest, having the lottery doesn't prevent teams from tanking much. Golden State was tanking HARD late in the year so they could get that conditional 7th pick from Utah.
I just think Miami is out-classed in this series. But yes, if LeBron and Wade combine to shoot 40 FTs like they did game 2 against the Celtics than it's definitely possible.
Last night I had a dream that Boston traded Brandon Bass and Paul Pierce to the Lakers for Gasol and some garbage throw in. The more I think about it a trade like that is possible IMO. Send Pierce back to LA so he can finish his career at home with his childhood favorite. Bass would be a nice compliment to Bynum and his salary is cheap. Gasol and KG would be an outstanding front line.

If the Heat win the Finals I would like to nominate Westbrook as Finals MVP. He seems like a nice guy but he can't help but be a chucker. So frustrating to watch. I miss watching a real PG like Rondo operate.
LeBron came up large in the clutch. DWade finally played well for his standards. The next time he plays a bad game we'll hear about how injured he is, etc.

Westbrook has no reason to operate with all those offensively brain-dead players on the floor. Either shoot it or give it to durant. There's nothing else he can do. Rondo has hall of famers for every possible role on the floor

Yeah underrate Rondo again and oh God, not again...
This series smells like a 7 game series to me IMO...I hope OKC wins it, they had 2 bad starts to the game, they can fix that IMO...

I didn't say anything bad about rondo lol. What would he do with OKC? Find fisher open for 3 with his 6% FG's? Or how about Perkins for the open 20 footer? Or how about KD or Harden for the open isolation?

I do wish OKC had another front court scorer off the bench. They pretty much depend on Harden, Westbrook, Durant, and maybe Fisher to score most of their points. I'd consider starting Fisher tbh. I've seen some stuff today suggesting they should start Harden. That would be a classic overreaction.
I wanted the Spurs to play the Heat because they are so deep and more steady. But all OKC needs to do is win game 3 and they regain control of the series. If they would get off to a good start that would be appreciated. Westbrook just needs to take smarter shots. That's really my only complaint. Some of his attempts make a person shake their head.
Also, Shane Battier is a joke with all his charge attempts. He's like annoying people on 2k who try to take charges excessively just to be an asshole.

That's exactly how I've always felt about Shane lol. Like it's just unnecessary half the time. More than half imo

^I tried to talk these jokes into playing 2k11 crew but nobody would play lol smh..I don't see why not. 2k11 was a really good game plus playing on a real team is fun.
I can't play today but this coming week I'll have availability. 2k12 team up still sucks but it seems like less people are quitting these days. I'm amazed at the lack of people who play team up though. I rarely get into a game that's more than 4v4 or 4v3, which is good enough but still.

LeBron deserves it IMO. He pretty much carried this team on his back against Indiana and Boston. He's playing well in the Finals. OKC continues to show their age and lack of experience. And James Harden has cost the Thunder 1-2 wins this series. No wonder Leroy tried to trade him so often in our OA. The new frozen one has arrived and his name is James Harden. He better shave off that beard now too ffs.
Great trade for the Hornets today. Not bad for the Wizards either but certainly not real sexy. Not really sure what they plan to do with Okafor and Nene under contract for at least two more years making 13 mil each. Not to mention Blatche. They desperately need to unload one of those three before next season starts.

Yes I've said thousands of times that harden is trash and disappears vs good teams. Maybe now someone will believe me.
damn hornets taking advantage of us. Blatche will most likely get the amnesty, since okafor/nene are functional. Well the rebuilding period is over for good now. It's all up to wall & beal now to turn around the franchise. No pressure at all /sarcasm

I believe on this one, Leroy you were right...Well he played great vs the Spurs, he choking BIG time vs Heat, he should play game 5 like it's his last and make a damn shot FFS, choking layups and wide open shots, man, he looks like Fisher out there, except the rebounding and the beard...
STAND UP AND GET CRUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!
EG+Davis+somebody = titles
Hornets win a ring before CP3 lol leggo...Ariza is good for y'all Leroy, finally you have some defense and with Okafor, that's a solid team on the East, I hope KG comes back, Danny Ainge said that if KG doesn't retire, he'll come back to the Celtics, #HOPE!!!!!!!!
CP3 already working out for the olympics, he posted pics and a video on fb...

Well to be fair spurs aren't a defensive juggernaut anymore. While the heat are. I remember watching harden choke against every good defensive team out there. Its like once he's stopped, he just shuts down. Yet all people remember is his glory against crap teams
I really like the wizards chances of winning a title if Wall & Beal develop correctly
That's a ridiculously balanced team (if developed). Hopefully the blatche amnesty can get us some sort of veteran PG. (I can only hope for Andre Miller lol #vintage)

^I haven't watched Vesely play much but is he that bad? lol
According to that depth chart you are predicting him as a bust. He could be a good bench scorer on that team IMO. We know Okafor and Nene won't score a tremendous amount. The backcourt looks real promising, assuming Beal has some game. #Hope
KG is waiting to see what kind of team Boston puts together. Bring the band back together for one last run. Even if Ray leaves, oh well. There's a few cheap SGs out there this summer. Jamal Crawford, Jason Terry, possible Brandon Roy return, etc. Sign Jeff Green and Pietrus back. I'd probably bring Dooling back too. Great locker room guy and solid defender. They need a massive upgrade at backup center/PF. Hollins and Stiemsma aint getting it done. And then Bass opted out of his deal too. Danny Ainge has his work cut out.
I'd have interest in them possibly trading for Perkins again. It's apparent OKC has no clue how to use him.

lol i forgot about broy. BROY @ PG IN DC???
Btw I also have said A LOT that Brooks is an awful coach. Finally the shit I say is proven lol
Vesely played like steaming garbage entire year up to the last month or so. He said he's working on his shot, and if he does get it down, he could be the backup/starting PF. Problem right now isnt that he's a bust or that anyone is better/worse than him, it's that this team is FULL of forwards. Every forward has their own role that the team would be lost without too
I hope he does get his shot down, his energy, athleticism, rebounding is needed badly. A 7'0 SF/PF is nice when the backup front court is 6'7 & 6'9

I don't see CP3 getting a ring any time soon lol...not until Blake takes his game to the next level and DeAndre Jordan is traded or he learns how to make a shot from outside 5 feet. Not to mention the gaping hole they have at SG. The Clippers did well considering they had no training camp and CP3 got there right before the season began. Vinny Del Negro <
You gotta believe the Thunder and Heat will meet in the Finals again at some point. I would LOVE to see the Cavs and Heat meet in the playoffs sometime soon. Preferably not in the first round as a 1 v 8 but at least in the conference semis. That would be must see TV.
