Official Season 4 Thread

Current Roster of coaches for Season 4:

1. Bryan: New York
2. Ante: Portland
3. Ken: Memphis
4. Crax: Golden State
5. DetroitRob: Oklahoma City
6. Justin: Denver
7. Paul: Phoenix
8. Al: Charlotte
9. NYKia: Utah
10. KSims: Atlanta

I've been thinking about this season quite a bit and have some options to consider when we're picking our teams. I'm thinking about four options.

1. Pick any team you want. No draft lottery. With 8 coaches we could probably go this route. No Orlando, Boston, Lakers, or Heat.

2. Have another lottery to select teams. Seems to work well.

3. Have a draft league with restrictions. The restrictions would be you can only choose two players 80 overall or better. Two players 75-79 overall, four players 70-74 overall and four players rated under 70 overall. You can't draft players 90+ overall. That is 12 players total. There's plenty of players in the categories above so everyone would get adequate players. And this prevents people from having all star teams with only 2 players 80+ overall.

4. We end the league. I don't want this option but if people aren't feeling it anymore, let us know.

i love number 1..

Option 1 would be my choice as well. I'm open to any of them, depending on the circumstances and interest levels. Sometimes it feels like I'm one of about 3 people trying to make this league work. Kind of frustrating but oh well.

Justin cares, Dexter cares, Kenrick is out of sync since he's been partying more than everybody in the world so give him a week, Rob is in and cares, Al cares too, but he definitely wants to redeem himself in season 4 vs me lol, and you too are lovely blokes who care the most, just these guys need to visit the forum more, but that will come, holidays ending brah...

Hmm, I gotta decide: Portland, Memphis and Sacramento...Don't know yet...When I finish the finals I'll decide...

New guy, played him extremely sim, he'll be active unlike other past members...

So Ante explain what are we suppose to do with NYKIA31?

this is a NBA2K11 league...not, NCAA Football 08, or MLB the Show, or whatever games he plays other than 2k11. hahaha

Also I'm sorry NYKia, but your activity is really really low, Bryan said it in previous pages, he's the one who cut him, but I stand right behind him with the decision...

We cut Luka and Simon with the same reasons...

Us 7 and we don't know for Rob, but we were active from day 1 so that's why we done this and it will work, I promise...

Als I'll be up early watching NOLA @ LAL so if you too are done and if Paul wins I think we can play game one already, IF Paul wins, which I doubt that because lil Nate has something to say IMO...

KIA is a quality guy from all accounts but he doesn't focus enough attention on NBA 2k11. This season we need guys who are committed. He seems to have his hands in about 4 other cookie jars. If he's seriously committed to being more active, he's certainly welcomed to join. But we need more activity than he's given us.

This league is for people who have lives outside of PS3 so it's not like we expect a billion games played. But we need a certain level of activity. If Kia thinks he can play 4-5 games a week, then come aboard. We can run with 9 coaches.

I do have my hands in a lot of pots lol...but I can definitely average one game a evening.

It appears we'll be doing option #1 of just picking teams at first come, first serve.

Post in this thread which team you want to use for Season 4 and you can have them.

Unless someone is dying to use them, I'd like to use the Knicks. If someone really wanted them, I have a couple other teams I'd be more than happy to use but for now I'll say Knicks.

If you're gonna stay, I'm not gonna force you to play like 2 - 3 games a day or anything like that. All I ask is that you have the decency to REPLY BACK when someone messages you.. If you dont wanna be bothered while you're playing your other games, please, just sign off the PSN..

#1 sounds like a great idea as I am running a similar league with no top 5 ranked teams. I like the idea of leveling the playing field. I am currently laid off so I have a lot of free time on my hands fellas. No concerns about me being active I assure you. I do have a newborn son but this is more or less the only game I am playing at the moment on ps3. Just an idea..you can use random.org if you like to get a draft order or you can just go with the worst records from last year. Whatever works for u guys. I am not committed to any particular team.
