| Ray Allen is a traitor. Not because he left Boston but because he signs with their current rival and probably the team who has kept them from the Finals two years in a row. If he signs with a team in the West I'd be happy for him. He should be booed when he returns to Boston IMO. Taking less money to sign with those front running douches.
The Heat will win it all unless they encounter injuries. Ray Allen is such an upgrade over Mike Miller it's silly.
I'm happy with what the Celtics have done this offseason. Pretty much as good as they could have realistically done. Jet Terry is a fine alternative to Ray Allen. Plus he won't be butthurt coming off the bench behind Bradley.
I know I'm late to the party but I'm not thrilled with Nash going to the Lakers either. Kind of a traitor move too but not as bad as Ray. I wanted him to play in Toronto. Happy for Steve that he'll have a legit title shot or two before he retires though. Lakers still have zero bench. Until that magically gets fixed I don't see them winning it.

| its ok, Mike Brown will just play Ante basketball and not sub out anyone the whole game jk anyways, with all jokes aside.. so Lakers get Nash just for draft picks.. then some time this week D12 will get traded to the Nets (or the Lakers) it makes me wonder, what the hell was the point of this new CBA? | |

I will now be a nets fan along with Knicks and jizzards. Going to support the best PG again. And one of my fave SG's

Rich still get richer, that will never change, fking luxury tax(or smthn) triples next season, but rich teams don't give a fuck and keep giving near max contracts to role players and pensioner stars.

It would be awesome if Celtics eliminate the Heat in the playoffs next year.

| http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/222182/Novak_Agrees_To_Four_Year_$15M_Deal_WIth_KnicksThe Knicks love to spend money. Good grief. Between this, having to overpay to match Lins offer, and Kidd's contract it's been fun for the Knicks. Might as well give JR Smith the max and Camby 5 mil per yr while their at it. FFS For Boston's sake I hope the Nets don't get D12 but for entertainment purposes I almost hope they do. That team will be highly entertaining to watch. That's why I'm pretty happy with Nash going to LA. They will be fun to watch. I still think the Lakers should move Gasol to increase their depth. Screw draft picks. Miami's bench > Lakers bench This offseason > | |

- Nets receive Howard, Jason Richardson, Chris Duhon and Earl Clark
Magic get Brook Lopez, Luke Walton, Damion James, Shelden Williams, Armon Johnson and three first-round picks -- two from the Nets and a lottery-protected first from the Clippers. Cavs get Kris Humphries, Quentin Richardson, Sundiata Gaines, a first-round pick from the Nets and $3 million in cash. Clippers receive MarShon Brooks. I say no to this trade. It's obvious that teams are breaking the season 1 limit of trading 3 players per team That's 1 no/0 yes. Vote...

| so cavs are in this deal helping Nets build a super team.. and if the clippers and cavs drop put, the bobcats are reported to step in and help get this deal get done.
dan gilbert and MJ, same two owners, who strongly agreed to nix the CP3 deal, are now making sure D12 ends up in Brooklyn for a superteam for basketball reasons.
I say No, we're turning this in to a draft league now? it's not gonna be sim anymore.
so that's 2 no/0 yes.

| That mega trade blows. It's a no from me too. I typically veto any trade involving D12 though. I wish the Lakers would step up and get him. I don't want the Nets to build some #fantasy team in the East. Let the Lakers build a great team that's capable of destroying the Heat in the Finals if they get past the Celtics.
For the life of me I don't understand why JR Smith has zero value in the NBA anymore. Good for the Knicks getting him at a bargain price again. I'm shocked some gunner team like Atlanta wouldn't come in and offer him a decent contract.

| LOL @ nobody wanting Blatche, just amnesty his retaded ass already.
Novak got better contract than Smith, what the fuck is going damn it. Lin is about to get badly overpaid too.
D12 deal is not gonna happen imo, let him fucking waste another year and then release this clown, they're getting nothing for him anyway. It's a joke.
Gonna be interesting season.

| The Nets deal is dead. Cavs never wanted to be the facilitator, all these "proposals" are coming in from Dwight's agent and the Brooklyn staff.
JR Smith is a chucker and a player with low bball IQ. He's also financially broke, according to some reports.

| Rashard Lewis to the Heat puts suicidal thoughts into my head. He's not the player he was 3 years ago but he's still got some game. I don't see him playing much when it matters but that's a great player to have for the regular season.
Obviously the rest of the GMs in the NBA agree with you Luka. It's pretty apparent that JR Smith had little or no interest if he would agree to that contract. I don't want to hear this crap of how he wanted to be in NY, etc. Bullshit. He opted out of his player option for a reason. His ass was money hungry and he didn't get any takers so he went back to NY with his tail between his legs.
The Novak contract is laughable. Not the money necessarily just the length. NOBODY in the league would offer him a 4 yr deal. I'm not sure anyone would offer him a 2 yr deal tbh. I don't understand why people overspend for no reason. Like the Bucks giving Ilyasova 5 yrs and 45 mil. He's a really solid player but nobody else would give him that big of contract IMO.
I'm with crax, the lockout was a joke and was all for nothing. Jackasses.

| The new CBA tax penalties come into play in 3-4 years. Teams aiming for the championship are trying to take advantage of existing rules while they can. | |

| Hornets get Ryan Anderson, Stern seems to be the early favorite for GM of the year. James White to Knicks. One can hope that he won't get cut again before the ASW and the Dunk contest. | |
