Gay and the Blaze-crew finally got to visit Wall & co. at Washington, D.C. The Wizards started off the game with superb defense. Blazers only made 1 shot the first 2 minutes of the game. That didn't last too long until they changed up their offense, and caught up to their opponents. It was a close game until the 3rd game when Blazers started pulling away due to Rudy Gay's hot streak. The Wizards caught up again mid-4th quarter, but it still wasn't enough to get the win. Blazers take one at Washington 62-53 to push their streak to 4 wins.

Portland is going to be a very tough team come playoff time. Loaded with talent and Rudy Gay can guard all the elite wing players out there. It's a dysfunctional bunch but there's playmakers all over the court.

Lakers twice and the Nuggets in February. Looks to be a very good month for the Blazers IMO

We made some really bad mistakes this season

1. trading for Arenas and giving up 2 key players in Felton & Camby

You better be smiling bitch with that player option of $20 fucking million
- the original plan was to get Arenas then let his contract expire to be able to sign a decent FA in the off- season, but that fucker had a player option that I didn't notice.
- but Camby & Felton were already expiring, so it was a very idiotic move.
- panic trade - FAIL

2. trading for Rudy Gay even though positive came out of it as well

- could have let Gerald Wallace expire.
- now have 4 big contracts set for next season and possibly no room for Oden, Batum, Mills & a decent FA.
+ winning streak & can stay in playoff race.
+ future seasons could be successful
+ got rid of Matthew's retarded contract.

The good news is I bet we restart a new association if the lockout ends so the terrible financial shape Portland is in won't hold you down.

Rudy Gay was a good signing. Arenas wasn't necessary. Especially the way you play. You don't need a good PG to be success like some people in this league. All those years using Mo Williams prove that.
