| (Scentz gave me the permission, everyone can do this, also you can ask for trades right now if you interested in some NOLA players, I think you know who isn't tradeable...) This will be a certain preview before the season, updates of the NOLA organizaiton will come... We're like month away from season 1 and the Hornets organization is preparing for the new season, in 2K10 as we all know coach Ante won it all with Boston, but the job isn't fulfilled until he wins one with NOLA, in season 4 and 6 he coached the New Orleans Hornets (Cp3 & co.) and the team was the best in the season but after all of the figth they would come to the finals and lose, you can say lack of expirience or lack of cluthcness but bot teams had really good players in season 4 ( http://community.2ksports.com/community/league/standing.cfm?l=365914 ) the amazing backourt: Cp3, BRoy ( ), Batum, West and Okafor and key bench players McCants, Gibson, Posey Gray, Songaila, they've fallen to the Spurs with the hall of fame coach Paul who is known as the Cro stopper...Yes the Paul who came in the same time as I came, and ran a franchise with LAL, SAS...He won in season 1 and 2 with LA and season 4 with San Antonio...The Hornets were the "favourites" from Coach Bryan, who gave us the previews but yet again the lineup of Parker, Ginobili, RJ, Timmy and Bargnani was too good for NOLA...2 Great games but the Spurs prevailed...In season 6 NOLA had again a great team, coach Paul retired after his car accident and after the season 5 loss against the Celtics...So the road "was open" for NOLA to win it all...But again they cruised troughout the season and the playoffs with only 2 losses better than in season 4 ( http://community.2ksports.com/community/league/standing.cfm?l=429040 ) and the lineup: Cp3, Thornton, Peja, West and Boozer with good bench Collison, Posey, McCants, Gray, Songaila, they cruised to the finals and then the Jeebs Phoenix Suns were waiting, Coach Bryan said, the most intruging finals ever in history of nba4ps3...And they were, in overtime game 1 the Suns prevailed in a amazing game and just when you thought that NOLA would lose in Arizona, NOLA came back strong and then collapsed in the home arena in front of 20,000 fans...They just weren't ready enough and the learning experience will certainly help in the NBA2K11 season 1 of ISBA... With the new addition Ariza, Bellineli, rookies Pondexter, Brackins and Mustafa Shakur the team will have a more faster tempo than ever and again a more athletic Posey in Ariza http://www.nba.com/hornets/roster/The whole roster ^^^ The Hornets know that it won't be easy to win it all in season 1, because the tough competiton will certainly after this article be more pumped up to move the Hornets from the throne, I think the main candidates are: OKC, BLAZERS, KNICKS, CELTICS, BULLS... Especially OKC with Coach Jeebs around and the young and fierce Thunder squad...Blazers will be pumped up as some coaches tend to put me and Felix as the main rivals since Paul isn't here FOR NOW...I think the new look Knicks will definitely with a great GM/Coach Stabury be a contender and a great opponent to the Hornets...And then the Celtics with Coach Nibbles who are I think if Nibbles really wants his piece of jewerly they will be really tough to beat, everyone wants Nibbles to get a ring...The Bulls with a good coach Gcity will be good especially Boozer, Korver and of course the main piece of the puzzle Derrick Rose... The underdogs: Bucks with a another Croatian coach are good, but if Bounce isn't into the season and starts too fool around, it will be a disaster...Roc and Steve BatNash and the Suns will be alright, but I doubt Mikes willigness to win...Crax is definitely an underdog with the Warriors or Sixers, but he maybe be better than the Bulls or Knicks because of his amazing and most fun style of play...Mavs with Salbahe can be good but I can't see them up there with the big guns...Dave with the Magic, ehh...I can't tell much, but taking 30+ threes is not getting you anywhere...Coach Scentz is a playoff lock because he has great coaching skills and I certainly don't want to meet him in the 1st round...And there comes teh Jamesless Cavs with a great coach Vince, idk really know what to say, they will fight for the playoffs, but they can only fight and be there and nothing else IMO, to all respect to Coach Vince...And there comes coacg Kellz and my Cro buddy, Kellz wil play good with any team with a good individual, but I don't see him making the playoffs, my Cro friend if he plays in season 1, if he gets a spot, he learns quick and with the Heat he could be a tough nail...Leroy? Leroy if he gets a spot in season 1 I really don't know what to say about him really never played him in 2K10, in Live10 he's good...We'll see... That's that for the first time, Hornets insights will come later on...Hope you like the 1st "blog" C ya... | |

Does anyone know what Ariza was rated overall late in the season? I know he started off like 73 ovr but did he progress?

hmm, 78 overall is pretty good. Do you feel like New Orleans has any real weakness that you want to address via trade?
