MVP #watchlist Week 2 #promedition Mvprankings1

Welcome to the 2nd edition in ISBA's #MVPwatchlist, this week has been amazing, some great performances which won't go unnoticed this week, to get you ignited, Rose had a great performance in LA, overtime win by the Bulls, Chris Paul was amazing against the Lakers and Bucks, Russell Westbrook had an amazing 27 assist night and some new people will show up in this list, it has changed a lot since last time and some of them of course will have a free fall. The list is made how MVP list should be made, standings + stats + big performances (throughout the year) + clutch matters, with grades and our favorite stuff is hashtags (Copyright Hrvoje aka Bounce), also we will add the performance of the week and the record the players team had this week and here we go (as Hrvoje says, who doesn't like, he can go fuck himself and write his own MVP Watch list, #watchlist) (Hrvoje has the right to post pornhub links if he wants to in this MVP edition since I ruined his #TheRevampReReBootRecap 2 days ago, feel free to do it brah, I'm 18 you don't need censorship now Wink Wink ) :

MVP #watchlist Week 2 #promedition Westbrook_smile

1. Derrick Rose 6-5 this week (32-11 1st EAST) 21.8ppg 6.7apg 50% FG, only 25% from three, 90% FT (1st in PER, leading scorer in the league) (1st in usage rate above heads and toes over anyone)

The Bulls had a mediocre week, you can see by the record this week, they lost to the Wizards, who are on a roll, but hey, it's the Wizards, DRose, 7/23 FG, really? Is that the MVP? But sure he can have one bad game, but the Bulls lost to the TWolves and Rockets (6 turnovers), y'all got these two? Good, if you didn't, read that line again. He had great games this week and a signature 14/25 38 pts OT win against the Los Angeles Clippers and outplayed MVP rival Chris Paul. They won recently against the Raptors and a big win over the Hawks (the human cpu nightmare), 25 point blowout. The reason Derrick Rose is after a up and down week this high is because his team is leading ISBA in standings and he lead his team to victory over the Hawks and most importantly against the Clippers which gives him the edge over CP3 this week. Still if the Bulls struggle again and they fall down in the standings, Rose is falling down here too. So Bulls need to get back to playing championship basketball.

2. Chris Paul 11-6 this week (32-14 1st WEST) 16.8ppg 7.8 apg 2.9 spg 48% FG, 42% 3P, 92% FT (1st in efficiency in league and estimated wins added, leads the leauge in steals and assists & almost 50-40-90 season)

The Clippers had to catch up with the schedule and they did and they produced big, they had some sim losses and one heartbreaking loss against the Bulls as it was described in Rose's MVP corner. They lost agaisnt the CPU Nuggets, Gallinari made the gamewinner at the buzzer, Chris Paul was 8/22 from the field, but he had 20pts 17ast and 7stl but came short. He played also bad against the Bulls, he slept through three quarters, and woke up in the 4th quarter and OT, he was a horrendus 8/25 from the field, but had 17 and 11. But also he had great wins this week, first of all, against the big rival, the Lakers, he had 20pts 4rebs 5ast and more importantly, maybe locked the Clippers for the 1st seed in the wild Western Conference. He also had 20 11 7 in a blowout over Utah and exploited the Mavericks defense with pick and rolls ( Twisted Evil ) and an amazing performance against the Bucks in a blowout win, he has 57 assists in last 4 games, which is a mind blowing 14.25 average and only 3topg.

3. Russell Westbrook 7-3 this week (26-12 2nd WEST, 5th on playoff picture and lack games, but they'll catch up) 16.9ppg 7.1apg 2.3spg 4.0topg (2nd in the league in steals and in assists), 49% FG, 29% 3P, 86% FT

Finally, yes, breath of fresh air, Westbrook has done something worth of big praise, he has risen from the 5th place to 3rd place in the MVP race, so what he did then you're asking yourself? The Thunder have some games to catch up with some teams, honestly the Thunder haven't played any great teams, but, they won, they haven't lost to them and they are now becoming an elite team in the wild Western Conference, Westbrook had an amazing 20 and 19 against the Hornets and had 7 and 27 :O against the Pistons. They won both games. He's leading his team and posting big numbers and giving coach Leroy a reason to smile and to be eager about the future, Russell is playing great, but if he doesn't get his turnovers low (10 against Detroit, 4.0 topg) he won't get anywhere near Rose and Paul, so we're watching you young Russell in upcoming week and we will see if you improve your team record even more and will you be turnover prone.
#SignatureWin: 7pts 27ast in win over the Pistons, breaking the okc/sonics record in assists and season record in isba and career high for Russell and almost breaking the all time Scott Skiles record (30ast)

4. Dirk Nowitzki 6-4 this week (23-18 8th WEST) (3rd scorer in the league, top 10 in PER and efficiency) 17.3ppg 5.3rpg 2.2apg 52% FG, 34% 3P, 81% FT
Dirk Nowitzki, did I said that the Mavs are 8th in the WEST and only half of a game behind the Spurs and if they keep winning they'll have homecourt advantage in the first round? Did y'all think that coach Bryan after a meltdown with Denver in ISBA1 and after one cinderella season with the Raptors (reached ECF), that he'll continue amazing performances this season? Well he did and Dirk is his horse, well he has 2, but Dirk is the bigger one, first off all Dirk led them to a win against the Lakers in OT, the Heat, the TWolves and kept them in the game in LA against the Clippers and in a win against the Hornets. Ok, now look again those teams, underline the Lakers and the Heat and just clap your hands and cherish and admire the moment. What if are the Mavs 4th in the wild WCF? Dirk moves up because of his great stats and clutch shooting.
#SignatureWin: 12pts 11reb 2ast 3stl 2blks in a win against the Timberwolves, but the win against the Lakers has more impact.

5. Kobe Bryant 5-9 this week (30-16 3rd WEST) 16.9ppg 1.7spg 52% FG, 36% 3P, 89% FT

The 101 performance over the DLeague Nets is keeping him 5th, Kobe had a bad week, real bad week, coach Paul is struggling a little, not much, nothing to worry about, but Kobe, Kobe was not himself, he had a 6 point game, season low against the Clippers, big game, if Lakers had won, they would be emotionally up and standings would've been much different, but Kobe was 3/14 from the field, also he had no really big games, only a solid game against the Pacers, 20pts 8rebs, he's 5th because, we never ever bet against Kobe and Paul, he's 5th because he scored 101 and I can't say much, 5-9, really, the defending champs? Tough loss against the Knicks, Kobe had and had a gametying shot at the buzzer in Dallas, but Dallas won that game in OT, but he still hits clutch shots. Kobe goes up if? Well the reason is obvious, win games you should win.
#SignatureWin: No real signature win, but 20pts and 8rebs against the Pacers is a solid start.

6. Carmelo Anthony 6-3 this week (28-16 3rd EAST) 16.9ppg 4.4rpg 46%FG, 34% 3P, 84% FT

Coach Yoni took over the Knicks 2 weeks ago, results? Win over the defending champs, 3rd in the east, Carmelo playing his best ball since Justin departed from ISBA, wins over Lakers and Pacers put Melo on the 6th place, the Knicks with Melo and Amare (and some US/Taiwanese guy Rolling Eyes ) will certainly be a playoff contender in the East and with this kind of production from Melo, they can beat the Bulls because of their versatility and they have more offensive threats and they play defense in ISBA, Melo will rise if the Knicks keep Linning, I mean winning, or Meloing, or whatever, he is in MVP considerations, but they need to be the 1st seed so he can win the MVP and that's happening in odds like: 1/69 (#Craxersiorriors), so cracking the top 5 should be reachable.

7. Kevin Durant 7-3 this week (26-12 2nd WEST, 5th on playoff picture and lack games, but they'll catch up) 17.7ppg 4.5rpg 1.9spg 50% FG, 37% 3P, 86% FT

He's 7th because Wetbrook is playing better and Westbrook is more comfortable to young coach Leroy, but that didn't stop KD to post some good numbers and to be in MVP considirations again, he's shooting like 10 shots per game and still posting these numbers, if he gets more shots (I hope he does) he will be in the top 5. Same goes for him as it goes for Westbrook, he posted some good games against Detroit, New Orleans, Phoenix, SacTown, Craxiors etc. When you look at the numbers in those games and other games the Thunder played this week, they're so consistent and it's beautiful to see it >>>>>>> 20, 27, 18, 17, 19, 14, 16 and flirting with double doubles, with 8, 6, 5, 4, 4 rebounds it's a joy to see it, if he gets more shots he goes up to the top 5, but I doubt it because coach Leroy loves young Russell, but this is fine, the Thunder became an elite team with KD taking 10 shots, is that a sin? I don't think so.

8. Jason Eugene Terry aka the Jet 6-4 this week (23-18 8th WEST) (not the real Jet) 13.4ppg 48.0% FG, 39.6% 3P, 83.1% FT

What? Jason Terry, but how? Oh snap he just played his heart out agains the TWolves, the Hornets, the Heat and LA, wait fot it Lakers. Yes, the Jet (sorry Kenny Smith and Luka, Kenny is the real JET, but give this guy some props for playing his best ball ever this season), the 34 yr old Jet, posted some signature wins 4real this week. Lakers- 21 pts Hornets- 29 pts Wolves- 21 pts, consistent week for the Jet, he wasn't even near the MVP #watchlist last week, but after being the 2nd horse to Dirk for the whole week now and hitting some clutch shots and using his 18 minutes to the maximum is a definitive MVP top 10 candidate.
#SignatureWin: 21pts 8ast in an overtime win against the defending champ (yes once again, rough week for the Lakers) Lakers.

9. Lamarcus Aldridge 5-7 this week (24-20 9th WEST) 19.8ppg 5.1rpg 54% FG, 75% FT

This guy is playing out of his mind in ISBA again, but the Portlant TrailBlazers went on a 6 game losing streak and guess what, coach Hrvoje is taking a leave of absence till the playoffs. But will they enter the playoffse We'll see if the sim engine is nice to them, but if they don't that will be a wasted season for LMA, we all hope they make the playoffs because this is a helluva team with LMA, he has been playing great even in the losing streak, posting up numbers like 30 and 6, 24 and 8, 28 and 12 etc. If they do enter, God knows what will happen, because they can beat anyone and lose to anyone, if they don't sim till the end of the season, LMA moves up because they will win some games and LMA will post great numbers, if they sim till the end, we won't probably see LMA in the MVP conversation anymore. The 8th spot is still very possible if they want it and if the try hard.

10. Nick Young 8-2 this week (24-24 8th EAST) 15.2ppg 47.4% FG, 42.0% 3P, 88.4% FT
Another cinderella season in ISBA and it's the Wizards this season lead by Nick Young, not John Wall, the Wizards lost this week only to the Clippers, they've won against New York, Sacramento, Chicago, Portland, Golden State, Houston and Nick Young has put on a show ladies and gentlemen and that's why he's 10th on the list. The standings really put him down on the 10th spot, but if they improve, he should go up, but the award isn't reachable. Look at the numbers in last five games: 23, 27, 25, 48, 17 pts. Simply wow. Coach AFrankel is doing a fantastic job and the Wizards are reminding me of Toronto last season and Golden State in 2006/2007, 1st round upset against Chicago possible? Yes it is, why? Nick Young is playing out of his mind, coach AFrankel is an outstanding defensive coach and they've beaten the Bulls and held Derrick Rose the leader of MVP race to 7/23 FG and only 23 pts on 23 shots. Remember the name guys, Nick Young, Washigton Wizards, history will be made in DC this year, I guarantee it.
#SignatureWin: 48pts in 28 minutes in a win against the Rockets and also add 2 blocks and 3 rebounds and 4 triples, astonishing.

(Yes you guessed it right, no CPU candidates Laughing Laughing )
Honorable Mention and up and coming for the MVP list are:
Blake Griffin, Andrew Bynum, LeBron James, Dannilo Gallinari, Kevin Martin.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

And this is it for this Friday, next week should be our final week with a special guest to mix it up a little bit, thanks y'all for reading (I hope) and see ya on Monday, #prom.

I completely agree with Nick Young and Jet Terry making it into the conversation. Jet is arguably more important to my success than Dirk.

Rose is slipping recently. He needs a strong finish to win MVP. CP3 and Westbrook are closely behind.

Solid job, Ante. This looks like it takes a lot of work.

Good stuff. Nick young should be top 6 IMO

I've also grown to like durant. I still can't give him more than 10 shots a game unless it's close though. People would complain imo

It's bad enough you missed Evans but what about #Hayesanity? I've got CP3 winning the MVP award. Surprised that Kobe's 101 pts didn't get signature win. Good overall read.

Thanks guys, yeah it takes 2 hours, to look at recent games, stats, standings and all that you see and to write it down...

Evans has a bad record and he can't get nowhere near this list...Nick Young just broke through and they are only 8th on the bad EAST so, no.10 is a good start, week 3 he'll probably move up if the Wizards keep winning with gritty defense...

EDIT: Melo reworked...

you'll have to go early with next weeks list as the season is closing Thursday morning or so, and the MVP will probably already be known when the game advance to playoffs

Thanks for the Nick Young love Ante. Wall has been stepping it up lately too averaging around 10 assists and 3 steals a game.
