| ^that's where Rondo, Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger, and Fab Melo come into play IMO. You're talking about 5 guys under the age of 27. They were the 2nd best team in the NBA this past year (Thunder losing 4-1 disqualifies them) and still dealt with injuries. I think Jeff Green is more valuable to resign than Ray Allen because Green can play the 3 and 4 and relive Pierce/KG of minutes. During the regular season it would be foolish to play either guy more than 28-30 mins per game. I hope Ray stays too but Green is a must. Raptors willing to pay Nash 12 mil per year They could be very good if they get Nash. Especially with Valanciunas coming finally. Nash DeRozan cheap FA/Matt Barnes Bargs Valanciunas Could be a good run n gun type team. | |

Other than Rondo, every of those guys is either a 6th man in best case (Green) or unproven young guy. How many of them are the future of Celtics and ready to take over the team from the Big 3 this season or next? None. I referred to real young players that are on the brink of AllStar status, not a bunch of randoms that might one day take the minutes of Bass and Wilcox. Celtics are much like Lakers, going down, they don't have a plan for the future like f.e. Dallas has with Deron and endless cap space. Then again things could be even worse, ask Orlando.

| Can't wait to see Valanciunas play, KG contract is a joke, Ray is not coming back, they'd have to match KG stupid money, also the guy is too smart to come back. All those Gasol trade rumours are funny, I wonder which poor franchise will give up young talent for him. | |

| Celtics aren't like the Lakers, the Celtics have done a great move getting KG back, Avery Bradley is a great defender, Jeff Green and Sullinger only need to be solid and Fab Melo and this team can win it all if they sign a proper shooting guard, a back up for Bradley, because Bradley fits with Rondo perfectly...Everyone doubts the Celtics at first, but they all prove you wrong in the end...
Y'all need to realize that this team with all its "pride" which isn't nonsense because they obviously die for each other, this team was the 2nd best team in the NBA with 5,5 players in the rotation...Imagine what they can do with a 8-9 man rotation as it seems now...Guys come to your senses, they didn't made a move like LA and got Mike Brown as a coach, they dont have drama queens like Orlando, the only thing they should fear is injuries, if they're healthy in the playoffs, I put my money on them winning the title...
Bryan should coach the Raptors with Nash IRL IMO....

| Valanciunas not signing with Toronto last year cost me a title on 2k12 OA IMO. That team would be fun to use if they get Nash. A bunch of good shooters and if speed is nerfed again, speed/defense doesn't matter much. Boston is positioning themselves just fine. I love the fact they are showing interest in Jet Terry and Jamal Crawford in case Ray decides to take his talents elsewhere. Boston already said they will give Ray 2 yrs and 12 mil. The Heat only have 3 mil per yr to offer. I find it hard to believe he'd sign for that. He'll get plenty of offers for solid money elsewhere. Allen wants to win but he's interested in $$$ too. Dwight Howard demands a trade. Shocker. Seriously, if I was Orlando I'd send him somewhere shitty where he will be miserable for the year. Trade his ass to Cleveland, Sacramento, etc. What a candy ass. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/221923/Rockets_Prepared_To_Make_$8M_Annual_Offer_To_Omer_Asiksmh | |

| ^that's got to be a joke, 8 mil? Hope they fuck up Dwight and bench him for a year. Bobcats got new logo and uniforms (they probably went with 'Cats to make A.Davis MKG happier ) | |

| Cool, new jerseys, still look boring, much better than those pinstripe monstrosities at least. smh@ Asik contract offer, you gotta be shitting me bro. KG contract is a bargain, I change my mind, Biedrins earns almoast the same now that I think of it. Dwight and DWill belong together imo, those two douches will never win anything. There is a reason Sloan resigned mid season and that idiot got traded straight after. | |

| Well, those are just rumors. A more realistic contract is around MLE.
Asik has been the best defensive center in NBA for the past two seasons, but he needs to improve his offense. And when Morey likes a center, it's always for a good reason (he tried to bring Gortat over when he was anonymous, and now he's a good starting center). Seems like a good gamble.

| LOL They've reached an agreement on a three-year, $25.1 million contract. If Kwame can make $7 millions...
EDIT: First two years $5 mil, last one $15 mil. Effin' awesome deal

| He gets a reasonable deal for the first two years and then a massive raise for the last season, so that Rockets can play with a huge expiring contract on the market. It also makes almost impossible for Chicago to resign AÅ¡ik, because they'd have Boozer, Noah, Rose and him on max contracts in season 2014/15. Great deal if you ask me. | |

| Houston obviously seems content with finishing 9th or 10th in West. Logical move. | |

Yup, the most slightly above average roster in the history of the NBA.

| Atlanta somehow finds a team willing to take Joe Johnson's contract off their hands.
I can hear the celebration from the Hawks front office from here. I would be interested to see the Nets somehow have Johnson, DWill, and Howard on the same team. Probably couldn't happen until next summer since it will take them time to unload contracts, etc. That would be a dangerous "big 3", especially if they could keep Marshon Brooks and find a decent vet minimum guy or two to fill out the roster. Joe Johnson can be serviceable with a good PG and big man, just like he was in Phoenix with Nash and Amare.

| They also managed to trade Marvin Williams to Utah for Devin Harris. Good job, good effort by the Hawks management.
Howard is now out of the question for Brooklyn.

| Man, if the Nets could somehow trade for Howard this year and still keep DWill, Gerald Wallace and Joe Johnson...wow. They could only afford that for 1 year IMO since D12 only has 1 year left but it could be a magical year. Next year I can't see them affording GWall, DWill, JJ, and D12 all under enormous contracts. The tax would be through the roof. Unless they won the championship next year and then you'd almost have no choice but to keep it together.
And I agree with Luka about the Devin Harris for Marvin Williams swap. Great move for Atlanta, very questionable for Utah. So I guess they are depending on Mo Williams to run the point? That seems odd. I gotta believe they have plans to deal Al Jefferson or Milsap and they are wanting to get a real PG in return.

| I think that the Jazz want Hayward to have the ball in his hands a bit more this year. So Mo Williams is a decent solution and Marvin is definitely better on the wing than the corpses of Josh Howard and Raja Bell.
The Nets have signed Mirza Teletović on a 3-year, $15 million contract. If they somehow trade for Dwight, a third team will have to be involved to take on the contract of Hedo or J-Rich. A tricky situation, to say the least.
