I missed a lot this morning. I forgot that it would be 4 players traded instead of 3. Good eye to catch that. I guess releasing Kapono or not including Kapono will be the only way to go.

If I release him and Ante picks him up, It's just tweakin the trade and adding complications to it to make people happy. But the results would be the same.

Can't we just let that slide?

I say no exceptions to the 3 player limit, unless there's a major injury. Offering exceptions will only open the flood gates for more people to abuse it.

The 3 player limit makes you really examine your priorities when it comes to your roster. Paul has to decide what his best course of action is.

Couldn't Paul do the Clippers trade (trading 2 players) and then trade Gasol in a separate trade and acquire 2 players for him? He'd only be dealing 3 of his own. That would be within the rules, wouldn't it?

As long as you only trade 3 of your own players the entire season I'm cool with it. I thought that was essentially the rule. Am I mistaken? He would have traded (Artest, Kapono, Gasol) and that's it.

1) Gasol
2) Barnes
3) Artest

4) Kapono

that's 1 player too much if the rule is no more than 3 players off default roster

If we don't say a word there's gonna be another reboot, because it's not an usual situation to trade 4 players before we even start. Your tone is the only problem here.

Why would it be illegal for him to trade let's say Gasol to Indiana for West and another player? He would only be dealing 3 of his players. I would approve that.

I approve the 2 for 1 trade. As long as you only trade 3 players for the entire season I'm fine with it. That will GREATLY lower the #fantasy levels

No exceptions need to be offered or asked for in this case. Asking for an exception before the OA is created is pretty funny though.
