| Finally got a taste of 2k12. I was sad because for the first time in 3 years, i couldnt play as the Lakers in the demo This demo didn't get my excited or hyped up at all. So I'll probably won't get it on release day and wait for black friday and get it cheaper. I know it's the demo, and I know it's not the final product but here's a few things that I noticed.. Negatives: • The graphics seemed like it downgraded. like i mentioned before their faces looks nba-live-ish. some of the players look asian... like nba live. • The start in game menu is the same. except different pictures. Positives: • No more unrealistic pass in midair! • The low post game looks better • No more "impossible-to-stop" hop steps • And lead passes or passing in the paint is A LOT harder. Judging from the demo, and my busy schedule this semester, count me out and put me on the waiting list next to Vince. I played the demo only a few times so there's only a few things I can write. I'd like to hear your feedback.. | |

| I love the physics too in the game, damn I like everything in the game, it's smooth like butter, just smooth and I love it, and it said after the demo: Online association... | |

| I've seen quite a few people comment about how "smooth" the demo played. I must have downloaded a bootleg version because the player movement on mine was a little sluggish and quite frankly, slower than I'd like on both sides of the ball. The NBA is fast paced in real life and I don't think the demo captures that IMO. It's like Dexter says though, the demo for 2k is always crap so you can't let it cloud your judgement about the actual game.
The presentation is fabulous. Post game took me awhile to adjust but it seems more realistic. On 2k11 everyone was able to do post moves that 95 percent of people can't do in real life. I like the new way.
I hope the play calling isn't too complicated/works. Would have been nice to hear the announcers but I understand.
Best part of the demo was at the end with 3 beautiful words....
"The association: Online"

| 2k could have released their demo from 2k8 and Ante would rave about. I also don't care for defense on the demo. I'm having a tough time contesting shots. It seems like the defender jumps like he has shit in his pants for some reason. It's tough for me to judge too harshly because of the camera view on the demo. Ever since Jeebs mentored me and got me on that 2k cam I can't play on anything else. After 2-3 patches 2k12 will look nothing like the demo anyway. Paul, are you really not playing the association right away? That blows. It probably won't work right away anyway but still. | |

| LeBron = 91 OVR (best athlete in the game, not best player) Kobe = 88 OVR (injuries have everything to do with my rating) DWade = 93 OVR (better basketball player than Lebron) I've played 6 games of the demo and Bosh hasn't missed a shot yet. Must be 99 ovr midrange.
Purposely fouled out Kidd so Barea could get in. I was deeply disappointed in JJ.

| IMO CP3 should be rated at 93, CP3 should be higher than him just because what h did to the Lakers is bizarre...
Paul c'mon fuck ratings, just play with us...NOLA vs LA c'mon can't wait for that IMO...

| Only problem in the demo, Dirk is unstoppable....
Or I know how to use him? Don't know what but this game is goat, I mean just physics, defense is great plus they added some cool animations, r2 l2 defense is fun and I love the game speed, it's NBA LIKE...

| This demo is on pro casual, wait till full game comes out, i like what they've done personally, it will take some time getting used to controls but in general its cool, wade and bron try to get into the paint all the time like irl, bosh is there to support like irl, the rest of the heat players just watch them three , just like irl.
I hope they'll make created rookies with the same stats a the real ones, like they do in PES games without licenses, would be good enough for me. Match the skin tone and build and make faces similar, just change the names to something that sounds similar and we're good.

| The Mavs aren't the greatest team to use. That's not helping the demo IMO. There's no way in hell I'd run that starting 5 if I was using the Mavs.
Rudy Fernandez on DWade smh
