It does require an online code. EA >

The game itself...I'm not sure yet how much I like it. It's a lot different than BFBC2 in my eyes. More fast paced. Seems like they tried to make it appeal to the masses a bit more. Trying to dip in to that COD crowd. It's definitely a good game. Great? Not sure yet.

Dexter, have you tried team death match yet? I've been meaning to try it but I always forget and go into cuntquest.

I don't like deathmatch modes, prefer objective based games.

One thing that does annoying me about this game is the blinding lasers/red dots from the guns. It looks badass but if someone shines that on you it's over because you can't see the guy. It's only a factor on the dark maps.

Hrvoje would probably like it. You thought BFBC2 was too boring. There is definitely more happening on this game.

I will be thinking about the name under the sheets tonight.

I think flashlight/laser blinding is a nice touch, it gives away your position if you come around the corner so you need to pay attention.

That is true, which is why I generally don't use them. Hit detection seems to be fairly generous on this game so I don't think either is necessary. Maybe it's useful on that metro station map or that other map where the B flag is in that huge ass cave with A and C outside.

I look forward to the map pack with the 4 BFBC2 maps coming back. Wouldn't mind trying the co-op or campaign at some point either.

i tried co op, there are a few good guns that you can only unlock in co op, i got rex handgun, can't get past the helicopter mission, nobody can fly that thing for shit, i crash 3 mins into the mission everytime, you can do the first one over and over again, it'l take about 200 replays to get all the guns

i played some more co op today with some dude from us with a mic, theres some great missions that require at least one player with a mic, to sync sniper shots and such, so much fun

Nice to see you making friends with a fine USA citizen. Most of the time co-op modes are hard as hell on games. I remember doing some of the MW2 missions with Leroy many years ago and getting destroyed.

I haven't heard many ppl on mic so far on BF3. I don't use my mic often either but I love having the game volume piped in through the headset compared to TV. Makes the experience better IMO. Plus I can play as loud as I want without being a dickhead neighbor.

I still can't decide if I like this game or not. It's been 2 full weeks and I'm still undecided.

Do you like it better than BFBC2, Dexter? I like certain things better than BFBC2, such as sniping isn't so prevalent on this game. I preferred the maps on the old game. These maps are too big IMO. I appreciate having big maps but come on. I don't like running around for 2 minutes of real time just to find some action or the objective.

COD is more fun for my buck. Well, not Black Ops but MW2 was tons of fun and hopefully MW3 is too. I don't know when I'll be getting that. I don't think I have time to get it this week and play it. Not between NBA and BF3. No use having games getting dusty. I'll probably pick up MW3 in a couple weeks.

All the games I want to play coming out within 8 weeks of each other FTL

Yeah, sniper class is a bit shit, very hard to get points, spotting gives you a pathetic 10 points for a spotted kill, that supposed to be a recon class duty. I prefer last BF too, some of the maps are way to big for 12 v 12, it's hard to got a non COD type of teamates.

I'll wait and see what you guys think about MW3 first. No point in getting the wrong game and playing it by myself. Also waiting to read what game has better story mode. Those 5h MW3 story duration rumors are scary.

And also there's WWE coming out in a week or 2

^I really want WWE '12 but I think it will get lost in the shuffle for awhile with me. I also want Uncharted 3 but again, too many other things out.

MW3 story would have to be longer than 5 hrs lol..That would really be mailing it in on their part.

Part of the reason I don't want to get MW3 right away is because I know I'll fall back into my addict ways with it just like I did MW2/BO and I REALLY don't feel like doing that right now. I love playing COD with Leroy and it will eat up all my free time. I don't wanna go RocBoyz on this association because I'm one of the few who seems to really give a damn about it. Once my winter break from school happens first week of December I'll play the crap out of it.

Played this garbage for some hours @ my friends house. Online was total shit (I went like 15 and 5 every game, learning curve my ass) and campaign was decent.

Mw3 campaign is supposedly solid

There isn't much learning curve on BF3 IMO. They tried to dumb the game down to appeal more to the COD crowd. BFBC2 is a lot different feeling game.

I miss you btw...you getting MW3 tomorrow? I'm not sure when I'll get it.

oh... Well... Slightly harder game my ass. (that little tac light is bs lol)

miss you too bruh, but I dunno when I'll get it. Probably either this weekend or in like 3 weeks. Big gap ftl. I also don't wanna get it off gamely cause I paid for that madden pass. I'm in the top 300 so fuck it, I'll get my damn money's worth by breaking top 100 at least

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'll either give in to temptation and get it this week or I'll wait 4 weeks til school ends for semester. I'm very intrigued by the game and look forward to watching ppl on JTV play it.

Supposedly it's a completely different game because of the map design. (every map is firing range status) and the only people that are used to it are rushers. Everyone else will have to re learn the game. (all coming from people who have the game now)

I'll prob go to my friends house tomorrow to mooch off him lol. Just to see what it's like. Watch me get it for Christmas or something (Smh lol)
