Tyson Chandler is amazing <3 (and my ALR player isn't too bad as well).
However Im still unsure whether the Mavs can win 2 more. I always fear that they will breakdown in their typical manner. Surprised that they managed through 2 away wins with only 1 bad break per game. How strange they didnt shot themselves in the foot after 3 1/2 quarters. Go Mavs.

Celtics are done, hope to see Shaq few minutes in these next 2 (or 3) games. With lockout threatning and Shaq's age in mind, this could be the last time he steps on a NBA court.
Celtics are too old, too hurt and need all 4 guys to bring their A-game to have a chance. Hard to see that happen in every game from now on. Feel that theres no stopping for the Heat in this series.

The Heat will likely win it all. I seriously doubt the Bulls or Hawks beat them in the East.

Boston isn't dead yet. Just win game 3 and keep the dream alive. They definitely need to get younger. Next season they need to add another big man and a defensive stopper on the wing. Ron Artest will likely be available. The Big 3 are still viable but they need to keep their minutes WAY down during the regular season. They also need to investigate what it will cost to sign Jeff Green longterm. If it's reasonable, pull the trigger.

Shaq said last summer he was on a two year plan so technically he should be back next year. I think what happens in game 3 and 4 will determine his future. If he can come back, contribute and stay healthy for the remaining of the playoffs he will play one more year.

Yeah but what if there's a lockout and no season? Thats why I mentioned him. His future is uncertain.

The NBA is finally regaining national popularity here after being down since Jordan made that shot against the Jazz in the Finals. They can't afford to be in lockout for long IMO. I do agree that it will likely go on for awhile because the player salaries have been out of control for too long and the guaranteed contract issue is a big deal. That's going to be difficult to work out.

Nice trade by Orlando btw. Hey, let's trade Rashard Lewis (who spreads the floor and has proven he can win here, even though he's way overpaid too) for some mental midget who is a 6th-8th man at this point in his career, despite making 18 mil per year. Oh hey, while we're at it, let's bring Hedo back and his 11 mil per year contract.

That were brilliant trades. They just need time to shine, in a year when these 2 contracts kill any chance of resigning Dwight. Gil, Hedo and Dwight make what 45 mil combined? If the new cba sticks to attempts to have a lower hard cap among other things, who could Magic sign, where will be their cap space flexibility?
They made plans for this season, but Otis either is a jackass or hopes to get fired, if he didn't think past this year.

If I were Dwight Howard I'd probably leave too. Orlando appears to have blown their wad, so to speak in terms of being a title contender. They were lucky to make it to the Finals a couple years ago anyway. If KG hadn't been out for Boston there's no way they win that series. Celtics took them to game 7 without KG for Sue Bird's sake.

Howard cracking under the pressure of his pending free agency is comical. Dude bailed on the press the other day when asked about it lol.

Poor kid.

PSN still projected to be online Friday. I keep checking for updates, etc

Me too.

I remeber Scal was an major player back then, he heavily involved in rotation, first vs Chi in that amazing series and then vs Orl.

The Chicago series was lovely that year. Ray Allen had a 50 point game in one of those games. Ben Gordon was channeling his inner Ben Jordan alter ego throughout the series.

That was Scal's last stand as a real player that year. Too bad, he can still play IMO. Defensively anyway.

Sony has entered the final stages of internal testing to bring its beleaguered online gaming network, the Playstation Network (PSN), back online

At least people in Boston respected him (somewhat), and now they chant his name in a degrading way (imo) along with that ass Noah.

He'll probably retire, I dont see a way him finding another team or new contract.
And then in near future, double jersey retirement ceremony, #8 for Toine and #44 for Scal, and leaving Boston with like only 15 available jersey numbers to wear.

Chicago might keep him again. Tom Thibodeu obviously loves him. If John Lucas III is allowed to be on their roster Scal deserves a seat.

John Lucas III isn't much better than Ante IMO.

That last PSN test would be better served to come with a time table. I would guess it's the final piece of the puzzle so hopefully 6 hrs.

Vince knows IMO. He's a bright young man who keeps tabs on things.

How do you play in ranked games, Paul? The same way you play in league games? More cheesy? etc

Is John Lucas III son (grandson?) of THE John Lucas? If yes, then he deserves his 8$/hour contract with the Bulls.

I feel that when they bring back PSN online, that it will crash within 4 days again. New bunch of hackers will steal everyones avatar, and mass panic will make Sony shut down PSN until mid-August.

I realize you're half joking but that thought has crossed my mind regarding PSN going down again.

Considering they've been down for 2 full weeks they really should have their shit in order and be able to avoid such an incident.

He's THE John Lucas' son. You probably remember him from the College Hoops 2k days. He was pretty good for Oklahoma State.

i play depending on how my opponent plays, i try to play sim first.. slow the pace down, cause most cheesers can't stand playing slow.. then if the cheesing gets unbearable then i put a little cheese on my game too Smile

That's the right approach. Do you use the Lakers or just anybody?

The PSN reset thing probably won't be a big deal.

If it is, you've been known to change user names on occasion anyway. This will be another chapter in that saga.
