I WON. I WON. I FUCKING WON. OH MY FUCKING... I WON. I have newfound respect for posting, for auto offensive plays, for hands up defense, for Cousins (18 pts, 9 reb), for Hickson (18 pts, 5 rebounds). Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. YES. YES. YESSSSSSSSS.

If you havent been playing hands up defense on shots and have just been jumping then you just explained why you lose... hope you dont play hands up defense on a ball handler with a live dribble though... having a good defense team does wonders on this game

I played shuffle defense or lockdown defense most of the time not jump up defense >_>

Strange. All of the plays from the categories I assign to players show to all players for me.

So if you wanted Al Jefferson to have all his plays be "low post" category plays, you are able to go in and program 4 different low post plays for him to use? For example:

Al Jefferson:

Low-post: floppy dive
Low-post: up and under 13
Low-post: Philly 33
Low-post: Cavs 21

^You could do that? Because if I tried to do that, it would be the same 4 plays in each slot, even though I have multiple plays within the same category in my actual playbook that I want to use.

That's why it's frustrating for me because I can only use 1 play within each category, when there's others I'd like to use in addition. Am I missing how to do it? I've experimented quite a bit with it.

Glad to see the Kings grab a win. I jump all the time to block shots against the CPU, particularly inside. On the perimeter hands up is probably the safer way to go. Less shooting fouls and some times jumping to contest doesn't affect their shot anyway. Tons of times per game I'll time my jump perfectly and they will make the tough shot right in my eye. #Fun

Ah I see what you have been doing most probably. When you assign plays to players you assign cattegories, which means that if you assign lowpost to AJ only once he will have all of the low post plays in the playbook at his disposal.

If you want to edit the plays at his disposal under the low post category you go to edit offense and there you switch plays or add new ones.

In game the playbook works in the following manner. Let's say you have assigned in this order the following categories to AJ: 1. Low post 2. P&R 3. Highpost 4. empty. Now ingame when you will bring up the plays they will be sorted in the same way you assigned them ie. 1st play will be low post play 2nd P&R 3rd highpost 4th Lowpost again 5th P&R and etc. in the same loop.

You can actually have 30 plays for each player not only 4 now. I think you scroll them with r2.

That's it, if I understood your prob right.

@Bryan (I think you know this but just an example)

You can edit playtypes, you put Dirk to be a cutter midrange and p'n'r man, ex. in NOLA CP3 was mid range, p'n'r ball handler, iso, but now he's only p'n'r ball handler and iso, because I have a lot of scorers around him...

I had Ariza with 8 different cutter plays brah, don't know how you do it, you can scroll plays with r2 and have many different plays for anyone, just like EDC said, example I have 20 plays for Blake Griffin, #FUN...

For everyone, it helps A LOT...

Lovely loss vs CPU unbeatable Suns, Shannon Brown game winning three from the corner over Metta World Peace, right between the eyes...

Paul 30 8 8 = no help because CPU Suns are playing like the Suns from the early 90's lovely...Gortat playing like Barkley FTW...

16-4
Only 2 losses when I play, smh all losses CPU in the last 20 seconds or less, Celtics and Suns clutch...

Funny. Maybe we count things differently in houston but GSW are on the top of WCF for me. And even if I look at the seedings they are the first seed. Clippers and LA are both 1 game behind, sharing the 2nd spot.

Hehe, they are still seed n1. You have to go 3-0 to get their record. #GSWtopoftheWCF

After 30 straight wins I'll be at the top. Utah Jazz game now. Let's see if we can get that winning streak started.

I'm about ready to throw the towel in on my season. Good grief this has been a season of horrors for the Mavs. I've never had a season with so many CPU screw jobs. And then I try to play Ante and the lag is unbearable to the point we quit the game early in the 2nd.

Kidd is going to back to starting PG for the next 10-12 games. If we don't figure things out it's youth-movement time.

Lag is insane now. I'm surprised my 2nd game with ante didn't lag out.

Let's just all throw in the towel on this game. It's not worth it

I still love the game had plenty of fun games despite my crap record etc. IMO it's still the best and deepest sport sim out there.

The best sport sim out there is MLB the show. And behind that is Madden, probably better than MLB.

2k really doesn't try at all with anything whatsoever

I'm not ready to throw the towel in quite yet on 2k12. I'll probably reevaluate at the end of the regular season.

At this point I don't have much else to play so in the meantime 2k12 is fine. It's still fun once in awhile.

Oh God...

No reason, just play some cpu games, abuse Westbrook etc...

The game clearly punishes you when you don't play lol...

Days will get better for you young gun, just keep your calm, you'll be fine and also ISBA needs you...
